Eye (right): organ of sight composed
mainly of eyelids, eyelashes, the lachrymal gland and the eyeball.
Lacrimal duct (lacrimal caruncle): fleshy outgrowth in the inner
corner of the eye.
Eyebrow: hair-covered ridge over the orbit.
Conjunctiva (bulbar): thin, translucent membrane covering the
eyeball.
Lacrimal puncta: minute orifices related to tears.
Lower eyelid: muscular tissue covering and protecting the lower
part of the front of the eye.
Eyelashes: hairs along the edge of the eyelids.
Iris: coloured part of the eye.
Pupil: aperture in the centre of the iris.
Upper eyelid: muscular tissue covering and protecting the upper
part of the front of the eye.
